|Pierce County Dental Foundation
The Foundation's Mission: The Pierce County Dental Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization formed in 2003. The Foundation was started to raise and disperse funds for charitable, educational and scientific purposes. The unique aspect of the Foundation is that all money raised will be distributed exclusively in Pierce County.
PCDF has a goal of raising $1,000,000 for it's endowment fund. The proceeds will be used to support community programs that support access to care, building oral health awareness, and supporting the education of dental health professionals.
A Message from Pierce County Dental Foundation - Dr. Richard Coyner
A most heartfelt salute to all of you who participated in the third annual "Day for Smiles" campaign. Over $49,558 was pledged to the PCDF endowment which now holds over $300,000 toward our goal.
Covid - 19 has dramatically impacted our lives and avocation; however, we are still fortunate to have jobs. Many folks have severe financial hardships with the loss of employment, income, and benefits. Community clinics are stressed and most volunteer services are reduced. The Pierce County Dental Foundation is committed to serving those less fortunate in these trying times.
We look forward to next year. Thanks for making your generous contributions. Stay healthy.

PIERCE COUNTY DENTAL FOUNDATION
HAS CREATED AN ENDOWMENT
Leave your Imprint on the Future of Dentistry
Since 2003, the Pierce County Dental Foundation has supported nonprofit organizations dedicated to access to dental care and education. The Pierce County Dental Foundation has created an Endowment that will help sustain that good work into the future.
A reliable income stream will enable the Foundation to concentrate less on raising money and more on what is important - funding critical dental health programs and providing financial support to deserving dental professionals. Please join in this endeavor to ensure a brighter, healthier future for Pierce County.
However you choose to give to the Pierce County Dental Foundation Endowment-through a charitable bequest in a will or trust, a monthly or annual gift, or a periodic donation-your contribution will leave a lasting imprint on the future of dentistry and the citizens of Pierce County.
To pledge your support and to learn more, please contact Cindy Stephen at the Pierce County Dental Foundation Endowment at 253.272.9960 or email@example.com

Once the fund reaches $500,000 it will start disbursing the proceeds for oral health care for those in need, oral health education, and to support education for dental professionals. Currently the fund has over $327,000 in donations.
The Foundation has supported several community events to support improved oral health such as: Pierce County Dentists Care Program, Bates Free Dental Day, Tacoma Rescue Mission Free Dental Day, Pierce County Veteran’s Resource Fair, Pierce County Dental Society Children’s Dental Health Day, and oral hygiene supplies for schools in Pierce County.
